Honoring our World War II Submarine Veterans – Themed Saturday

The last Saturday of August's Maritime Month will honor our World War II Submarine veterans.  The focus will be placed on the McClintock/Dater-Dace Annex that focuses on one of the largest naval battles in history, the Battle for Leyte Gulf.  The Annex is located adjacent to the Maritime Museum and admission to the Annex is also free. Last Day Open for the 2015 Season

Sunday, October 18th with be the last day the Marquette Maritime Museum will be open for the 2015 season.  We will then close up for the winter and will reopen in mid-May of 2016.  Hours for the last day will be 10 am to 4 pm.

Marquette Harbor Lighthouse 150th Celebration

     On July 30, 2016 the museum will host a community wide party celebrating the red Harbor Light’s 150th birthday. Since the light was the first lighthouse on the Great Lakes electrified the Marquette Board of Light and Power is partnering with the museum to make the festivity a great success.
