The Marquette Maritime Museum is ending the 2015 season with Walt Anderson's Famous Whitefish Chowder and delicious desserts provided by Econo Foods Bakery.  Non-alcoholic punch, coffee and wine will be provided. Marquette Harbor Lighthouse 150th Celebration

     On July 30, 2016 the museum will host a community wide party celebrating the red Harbor Light’s 150th birthday. Since the light was the first lighthouse on the Great Lakes electrified the Marquette Board of Light and Power is partnering with the museum to make the festivity a great success. Incidentally it was the BLP that provided the power back in 1928! As part of the  celebration the Mayor of Marquette will officially sign the deed transferring not only…

The Windjammers are coming to Marquette! Working in cooperation with Harbor Fest, the Marquette Visitors and Convention Bureau, South Shore Fishing Association and City of Marquette, the Maritime Museum has arranged for the best of the historic sailing ships to visit make a port call at Marquette from Friday August 26 - Sunday August 28. Museum Closing for 2017 season

The last day the Museum will be publicly open for the 2017 season will be Sunday October 15. We have had a fantastic year and thank everyone who visited this year as well as our wonderful volunteers and staff. The Museum will open for the 2018 season on May 15. Details to follow.
